I like the potential the game shows, the parry feels powerful and very fun to trigger. However, I see some things that might lower the quality of the overall experience. Here are some thoughts:
-The enemies work too much towards perfect parries, and that makes the combat go into a simple "wait till parry" mechanic that holds the momentum completely (specially the shield enemies).
-The healing system takes tooooooo long to trigger, and while it heals you completely once active, the amount of enemies you have to defeat to get it doesn't make it that worth it. A good solution could be either allow it to be active faster without giving you full health or to reward perfect parries with more health orbs.
-Knockback with simple parries is a tad too big and gets annoying while on a ledge. A smaller distance travelled could work wonders!
-You can cheese ledge enemies with the huge amount of time you can stay in the air while doing a jump attack and hitting something (potential for skips if you are looking for that though!)
